Student Visa
Student Visa
One of the best ways to become legal immigrants to a certain country is to be a student in that particular country. This is considered a stepping stone for many as obtaining migration visas is often a very difficult process while the student visa is easier to obtain.
Before Processing for a Student Visa
Depending on the place where one seeks to become a student, conditions and terms apply before one is granted the Sudent Visa. It will only be granted by the government when the prospective student has complied with certain rigid requirements both from the government and the school. One must also prepare for questions related to school versus career matters.
Because of the above reasons, one should first find the school to enroll in before applying for a student visa. What does one want to achieve in his or her stay in the country? The F1 visa is often given to prospective students in the US. Unlike in the processing of a k1 visa where the grantee is required to get married within 90 days or has to go home, the student visa allows the grantee a longer period of time to be able to settle into the school and earn a degree.
Getting an American visa - even for students - entails completing assessment information necessary for the visa to be granted. It is therefore very important that one is honest in the application so that the visa is not revoked and the person temporarily or permanently from the country.
When the Visa is Granted
There are, of course, certain stipulations when it comes to the Student Visa - among these is the eligibility to accept employment on grounds of practical training for the course. One must be careful to know the limits of the visa else he or she might be required to have separate work visas.
The approval of the Student Visa entitles the student to a certain number of months of stay in the country - that is if the student does not break any rules regarding information and the laws of the country. One can still seek for a visa extension when the original visa comes close to expiry.
